Professor Rachael Field, Editor, Student Success

Professor Rachael Field is Editor of the Student Success Journal overseeing all aspects of the editorial process including the review of the Practice Reports and Emerging Initiatives.

Rachael is also Professor in the Faculty of Law at Bond University, Australia.  Professor Field has published widely in dispute resolution, women and the law and family law, the first year experience, legal education, and student success and well-being and is recognised as a national leader in legal education, dispute resolution, family law and women in law. Her key teaching interests are in the first year experience and dispute resolution. Rachael has received a number of institutional learning and teaching awards, and in 2008 was awarded an Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) Citation. Rachael was made an ALTC Teaching Fellow in 2010 to develop curricular strategies in response to high levels of law student psychological distress. She was named Queensland Woman Lawyer of the Year in 2013, and received an Australian Award for University Teaching (AAUT) Teaching Excellence award in 2014.
